Having mucked around with the band saw yesterday, it was time to give the drill press a test drive with some aluminum. I had acquired the press and vise some time ago, and a few weeks ago bought some metal-capable drill bits.

Of course I made what amounts to a noob mistake and screwed down the vise in a way that makes actually using it impossible…

… thought this wasn’t too difficult to remedy…

Now we’re ready to roll…
